Donate to Yucatan Peninsula Mission

Yucatan Peninsula Mission construction project.

When you donate to YPM, you can be assured that every dollar goes toward serving the needs of the Mayan/Mexican population in the Zona Maya region of the Yucatan Peninsula. 100% of the money you donate will be transferred to our affiliated entities located in Leona Vicario. YPM is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and your contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Furthermore, our affiliated entity in Leona Vicario is established as an “asociación civil”, which is similar to a nonprofit as we have in the US, and carries similar responsibilities of oversight. We are confident that each dollar we transfer to them is used to directly advance our mission. So much is being accomplished with your help. Construction continues in local communities and on the grounds of Instituto YPM, a University level education institution and currently we are in the process of installing a clean drinking water facility.

We appreciate all donations, which are changing lives and improving conditions for many.

General Operations Fund This fund pays the monthly expenses of running the mission in Mexico and includes a stipend for our directors as well as groundskeeper costs, utilities, cell phone, professional and other expenses in maintaining the base.
School Construction Fund This fund pays for the construction of new facilities for the university. Funds are disbursed as requested to pay for skilled labor and materials to advance our construction activities.

Pastor Retirement Fund This fund supplements the retirement of Mexican Presbyterian pastors who have served in the Zona Maya. The Presbytery stopped paying the pastors’ pension in 2019 as they no longer had the funds.

Technology Fund This fund is used to support the technology demands of the university, including the purchase of computer and internet equipment.
Car Fund The YPM USA board started this fund to purchase a small economical car for our directors in Mexico to use. They currently use a van as it is their only form of transportation and it is costly to operate.
