YPM operates several kinds of trips for groups from the U.S.
Construction Mission Trips - Groups work alongside Mexican master workers to construct much-needed facilities – schools, houses, churches, and more.
Medical Mission Trips - Groups of medical professionals and other volunteers provide free medical care and prescription and over-the-counter medicines to the people of the Mayan community. Currently we have only one medical group each year, but we’re adding another group in 2017 and would be happy to help your group plan a medical mission to YPM. For additional information or to attend a medical mission trip, contact Cynthia Robinson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cultural Exchange - Learn about the Mayan culture – dress, cuisine, religion, language, and customs – through visits to local villages.
Service Learning - Learn about the Mexican/Mayan culture, practice the Spanish language, and serve others through a variety of short-term mission projects.
Family Mission Trips - Families with children 6 years and older can experience the Mayan culture, see how they live, and serve together through age-appropriate projects and activities.
