YPM’s “Come and See Missions” are all-inclusive with service projects, lodging, food, and ground transportation provided. They are designed to adapt to the specific needs, concerns and desires of both the Mayan communities they serve, as well as the American volunteers. YPM’s main objective is to assure a secure, safe and enjoyable Christian environment. Wilian and Erly currently oversee about 20 tiny Presbyterian churches in villages scattered throughout the Yucatan Peninsula.
“Come and See Missions” are committed to bringing the Word of God to the peoples of the world through labors of love, education and medical programs. The hundreds of volunteers who have poured concrete, comforted a child, and shared laughter without regard to language leave savoring a rich experience … and with memories of heartfelt gratitude in the eyes of those with whom they served.
